Our Managing Director, Mrs. Ilia Bardani, participated in panel of the Greek Mining Companies Association (SME) event titled “Mining is (also) feminine” which took place on March 3rd 2024.
Her statement regarding her experience as a woman in the mining industry, was: “the mining industry is a particularly demanding industry that balances between its necessity as a necessary aid to modern technologies and traditional management and operation structures. Finding your place, being recognized as a professional and scientist and being accepted by your colleagues, superiors or subordinates, has always been a gamble. With a lot of persistence, patience, and love for the object of our work, and confidence in our abilities, we gradually find the position that suits us“.
